Design Thinking
During the beginning of my foundation year at DIDI, I did not have the faintest idea of what design really was, I was simply coming to make pretty dresses, so being introduced to the topic was shock, I had thought that the professors were trolling us all along, I found the entire process of our projects they put us through was torture. I simply did not think that design was this complex, one term to be more specific I had the worst experience with was; iteration. I remember my studio professor forcing us to create over 50 iterations of our designs or sketches, and me just thinking is this a form of torture or humiliation, now that I am a third year student I believe I wouldn’t be the designer I am if it weren’t for that first year torture. It took time to connect the dots and realize that design thinking could be applied to almost anything, it is a universal process that truly makes you understand what you’re designing from nothing. Even more so it really connects you to your design and reflects who you are, since it is your blood and sweat. An example of this I’d say is my fashion design projects, through a system of research, defining what my concept is, endless experimentations, sketches, and iterations, I have a whole concept created by ME! It was a truly marvelous feeling to know that I created that, and that I have a whole process to show that every single little thing in my concept has endless research and a thought process to that choice of color, or pattern, or even cut. Furthermore, I had also discovered my passion for learning especially when we were introduced to robotics and the more multimedia aspect of design and that is when I discovered I had a talent and a passion for the field.
Premier Pro Essentials I've learned:

2. Razor icon to split or cut clips
3. Effects tab: Video transition/ Audio transition. (only fades were allowed)
4. Audio channel editing, balancing the left and right channels
5. TItle creation: graphics - new layer - title
STORYBOARD draft
The way I chose to go about my re-edit of the perfume ad is to create a storyline revolving around an unrequited infatuation with the dot ‘girl 2’ who i smore interested in her perfume that has no feelings, the storyline revolves around how shallow and materialistic vintage beauty advertisements made women out to be. I also kind of gravitated towards a taboo of a romance for it is truly a new twist and something new I have never experimented with my work, so it'll be interesting studying the dynamic further.
